VICTORIA DAY!

Ellloooooooo!

Today I'm going hiking in Elkwater! Doesn't that just sound outdoorsy and Canadian? So this will be a quick one!

Yesterday was VICTORIA DAY!!!!! 2nd year in this country celebrating it and i'm still confused why this is a day off of school. Cause they don't really even celebrate it in England and lets be honest Canadians dont even acknowledge the queen, especially one from 200 years ago.....but they're all just like "shhhhh, don't question it." Anywho. This week our BFF Marjorie was baptized!! :) she was telling us that she was so excited for her baptism she couldn't sleep at night! She said hasn't been this excited anything since right before she got married!!! Sooo cute! The talks were prepared, lots of people and investigators came, and most importantly, the font WAS filled (we decided against delegation and went to the church in our pjs at 5am to fill it)!!

All in all, I am continually grateful for life as a missionary!

This week we prayerfully stopped by an investigator, and she was crying and in a crisis. Her card had been frozen and she had no money, no job, and no food. When we came back the next day, she had made a poster of 50 things she was grateful for, and had all her kids make one too. I was so touched by her gratitude even in tough times.

In the words of Josh Groban, "theres sooo much to be grateful forrrrrrr! " Count your blessings, and name them one by one!
