yo yo yo! theres nothing actually special about this weekly compared to others. i just can't always think of creative subject lines.
So this week we had Zone Conference!

the medicine hat zone
It was in Lethbridge, over 2 and half hours from Med Hat, so we got to stay the night in TABER so we could make it there on time :))) This meant that I got to see my mother, Sister Williams. :))))

final farewells. :(((((((
This is her last transfer, and the last time I would see her before she dies (goes home from her mission). So, I threw a funeral. I wore black, created her bucket list of things shes done, carved her tomb stone, brought fresh flowers, prepared her casket, recited her eulogy, and even compiled her slideshow of her life, via photos. It was a day of mourning. None the less, a natural part of mission life. RIP Mom. #orphan

the funeral. :(
Honestly, not much to report on as for new things! Sister Moffett and I had a million potential investigator appointments fall through (we're used to it, its okay!) and we had a bunch of times we felt like we should knock on doors, and then no one answered. It was definitely a time of relying on the God, and trusting in Him! I feel like if we saw the immediate result of every prompting, we wouldn't really learn anything, because there wouldn't really be a need for the faith. There was a time that Sister Moffett and I prayed and were both led to visit one house. She begrudgingly mumbled and cursed at us. Although we were confused why we were led there-- it really didn't bother us at all!
If Jesus Christ were coming up to each of these doors with us, I would have NO fear at all. Like... it's Jesus... His power is obvious-- and He'll help me if I get nervous! I was reading a scripture in Moses 6:32 that says,
"Go forth and do as I have commanded thee, and no man shall pierce thee. Open thy mouth, and it shall be filled, and I will give thee utterance, for all flesh is in my hands, and I will do as seemeth me good."
I realized that Jesus Christ IS coming to every door with me. He IS telling me what to say, and He IS giving me the faith to keep pushin' on to do His work! We have nothing to fear if we always rely on Him and continue to follow His promptings. We won't always understand why-- maybe its for me to learn, or for them to have an opportunity to listen. It doesn't matter because Christ is aware of me and them-- and His plan is always greater.
