It seems so warm here :))))

After reaching -47C with windshield last week, it was the coldest week Lethbridge has seen in 124 years!

In Calgary, the penguins have a daily zoo walk. But they cancelled it because it was so cold.

They cancelled a penguin walk. Because it was so cold...........

So penguins don't have to walk but I do?????

Hahhaa but a chinook saved my life and it raised the temperatures LITERALLY 50 degrees in a day! it was +6! (isnt it funny we have to clarify the plus?) so people were in their shorts and we were having a partay! LOVIN this weather rn hahahha

so New years is a national holiday and EVERYTHING is closed in Canada. weird right? like the mall was closed... new years sales dont exist! so the only place open was 5 guys, and no one planned it but like randomly all of us missionaries were there! fun times fun times

Honestly not a lot to report on, yet. Tonight is transfer calls so we'll see what happens! haven't been here too long but ya never know...?

Spiritual Thought!

Ya know what verse I think of alllll the time?

Romans 8:35

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?"

Think about that. What are we going to let get in the way of our happiness? Paul lists a bunch of trials that seriously kill people.

and then verse 37 answers his own question.

"...Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us."

Despite all those things, despite every hardship, Christ is there. And he loves us and wants us to get through it. He is cheering us on and lifting us. And no matter what it is we are triumphantly victorious. Thats pretty stinkin awesome that no matter what trial, pain, affliction---- we can be more than conquerors. We don't have to just get through and then pass out. But we can get through, and have joy. I love you all. I hope you can remember that this week.

making a shrine to our AP, Elder Wolfe, that he'll have mercy on us at transfers, that our next 7 week transfer may have prosperity and happiness.
