This week was transfers and I stayed in Lethbridge and got my new companion, Sister Rhead!! She’s from Temecula, CA! First comp not from Utah!! There were also some MAJOR PLOT TWISTS. U ready???

So in Taber, (my last area) Sister Follett and Sister Williams' areas COMBINED and now they’re companions, and now I’m their STL!!! So my greenie and my trainer are companions and I get to be their STL who goes on exchanges with them!!!!!!!! You guys probably dont understand the magnitude of how exciting this is. We're just so lucky we've all gotten to serve SOOO LONG together!!!! Our whole missions!! Seriously, life long friends! #lovethem #iliterallycriedtearsofjoy

SO. GUESSSS WAAAAAAT. Myles and Madden got baptized this week!!!!!!!

For the whole time I have been here, we were unsure when the Sandovals would be baptized, or if it’d ever even happen! But Saturday was finally the day! Brother Sandoval had the chance to baptize his two, ten year-old, twin sons :) Myles was first. He goes into the water, just beaming from ear to ear. Brother Sandoval says the prayer, and ever so slowly he dips Myles in the water. As he comes up, he just is smiling so big and is just chillin' there in the water. He just lingered for a good 12 seconds, soaking up the Spirit and good feeling he felt, until Brother Sandoval lovingly shooed him away.

Madden was next. Déjà vu!

The twins are indistinguishable without their color-coded glasses. Madden follows his brother’s example perfectly. He goes in, smiling so big you’d think he would drown from all the water that would flow in his mouth. But then tenderly and lovingly, he was also slowly immersed in the water. He came up, and also, just wades in the water. He just didn’t wanna get out of that water :) SO CUTE. those are some of my favorite moments as a missionary :)

Quick story:

We had an investigator this week, John. It was our first lesson with him, and the elders had passed him off to us because they had only taught him once.

Our conversation went a little something like this:

Me: “So have you had a chance to read the Book of Mormon, John?”

John: “nah, I’m kinda skeptical of it cause it adds to the bible.”

Me: “well, John. How are you going to know if something is true if ya haven't even read it (you silly man)”

So I have him open up to 3 Nephi 11. Have him read about when Christ comes to America. Sure enough, he reads for 5 minutes and is like

“ok this is pretty interesting…. I’ll have to keep reading.”

Classic. The scriptures teach us that the word of God are more powerful than a sharp sword.. A SHARP, TWO EDGED SWORD (Hebrews 4:12). Or anything else for that matter. It’s too easy people. Don’t be silly, critical sceptics. Just be like John and read the book, and then come to church in a tuxedo on Sunday.

Other highlights from this week:

-A member bought me crab legs cause she knows and understands my Maryland obsession.

- I found that Canada makes a knock off version of Oh’s cereal that is equally delicious.

-Went to 4 Ward Christmas parties this week. #yeahhhhboiiiiiii
