I'm not confused-- you are! Thanksgiving was yesterday here in Canada!!!! You may think "y so early????" but as Canadians say, "why so late in the States???" cuz,

a) the harvest is over, and

b) theres no holiday/long weekend in October!!

(i guess we could celebrate Columbus day but i didnt even remember that was a thing until emails today lol). But its not like a knock-off thanksgiving, it feels just like it does at home!! :)

anywayss, it was an AWESOME WEEK!!!!!!

exchanges: aka best day of my life

exchanges with my trainer:

right after p-day, Sister Williams and I went on exchanges together and it sufficeth me to say that those 24 hours were some of the best of my life!!! We always see miracles together :) during our exchange, we picked up a new investigator!! It was way cool, cause she straight up was like "yeah. i dont really believe that any of this happened," and she was throwin around some crazy scriptures, typical. BUT. it was awesome because even though sister willy and i haven't been companions for 6 months, we could teach by the Spirit together! So we just bore solemn testimony that she didn't need to trust us, but that she could find answers for herself. We just testified that we knew it was true, and we were only there to extend an invitation. And she had a change of heart!!! It was so cool, she was like "wow, you wouldn't be here on your missions if you didn't believe this was true. I'll definitely read this {the Book of Mormon}." and her countenance changed from defensive to open-minded so quickly!! I love seeing people open their hearts to learn more about God's role in their life. :)

ok, now to the "nitty gritty" *(nacho libre voice)*

SO. we had 2 thanksgivings!

thanksgiving w/ the Gardners!

ppl here dont just do it on Monday like they should, everyone basically just eats the feast whenever its convenient. But yesterday sister follett and I got to have our dinner in Grassy Lake and it was so fun!!!!! i said i wanted to drive a tractor and my wish was granted and it was heaven.

I DROVE A TRACTOR. #bucketlistcompleted (look at me!)

and guess what. we had dinner with 10 investigators. so the whole Wiebe family showed up (as expected)

Best thanksgiving ever??? Spending it with the Wiebes!!!!!!!

DEL :)

and then I walk in the Kitchen and I see Del and Dave!!!!

So waaaaaaaaay back a few months ago, before they changed my boundaries, I was serving in Barnwell, and I taught Dave and Del! And they are the cute farm couple we did all that service with. Anyways, I'm like waaaaa????????????????????? and the Torrie's had invited them over for dinner because they somehow know them (small town) and it was so joyful!!!!!!! and they have been progressing so much!! And she just hugged me and thanked me, cause they went to church for the first time on Sunday (first time at any church in 20 years!!!)!!! and long story short, she got teary eyed and said i didnt know the impact i had had on their family, and that they are able to feel God's love for them through the Book of Mormon (and that is HUGE for them!). ah man, my heart was so full!! the mission is so good and I am just full of gratitude.

I'm thankful for you all, I'm thankful for this gospel, and I'm thankful for Jesus Christ. Love ya.
