CORNFEST 2017: "get dat corn outta my faceee!!"

ello my chums!

I realized I have neglected to tell you the notoriety that accompanies Taber for their dang-good corn. {they have cold nights here, and the sharp weather fluctuation results in undeniably sweet corn.} So basically, Taber is affectionately known as the "Corn Capital of Canada!"

So because of this: They hold a big festival! Why?? IDK! But it's amazing. It's the largest free festival in Western Canada! Remember how it was Canada's big 150 bday??? Well if we were to compare Cornfest to Canada 150; Canada 150 would be like a small private birthday party where they paint pottery... and Cornfest would be the senior prom!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S UNREAL.

Like, guys. There are 8000 people in this town. BUT THERES OVER 15,000 PEOPLE at Cornfest!!!!!!! For once it's actually a struggle to find parking, and there's traffic-- not just when a train passes through town!!!!!!!

So understandably so, these were the best days of my life.

Cornfest Trivia Q/A: What type of corn is best?

Okay, okay. Am I being dramatic? Maybe. But this town loves corn more than any other group of people I have ever associated with, so I feel the need to hype it up as much as they do.

Anyways :))))) this week was super awesome (not just because of Cornfest)! We have a new investigator named Starr! He's Filipino and he is so cool!!! (idk how I do it, but I always find filipinos to teach) It is so cool watching people humble themselves and have that desire to come unto Christ! i love my mission! :)
