Sister Follett and I were driving around, exploring a town called Grassy Lake which we cover where a whopping 600 people live. We drove past a small pond (featured in the picture below) and Sister Follett exclaims with full enthusiasm "ITS THE GRASSY LAKE!!!" hahaha oh man. we we're dying of laughter.

This is where our dinner was last night. 40 minutes from the "city" of Taber, into the middle of nowhere. dat sunset tho!!!
Anyways!!!! We had a zone conference this week in Medicine Hat, so that was pretty fun to go out there and learn how to be better missionaries :)

Zone Conference with Sister Follett :)
President Miles said that he wanted us to focus on our mission culture being "Christ-Centered." This was so cool, because as missionaries its easy to focus on how many people you're teaching or how you approach people or arbitrary things that can be measured on how successful you are.

Lethbridge East Zone!
But as I have just been thinking, it makes sense! Like when we are just genuinely focusing on trying to be like the Savior: compassionate, patient, charitable, faithful, humble.... people will respond to that way more than someone who is super smooth worded or like a salesman. So I think that applies to life off the mission too! I'd encourage you to think about the Savior and how we can all strive to be more like him :)
Anyways, its been awesome in Taber! Some Filipinos made us eat with our hands, met with some families, saw a really cute baby. Normal stuff.
If you skimmed through this email just know this. Taber Cornfest is this week. If you don't know what that is you will soon. I have been waiting for this moment since before I was born. Tune in next week.

As missionaries we get a lot of tough questions, but man, this one blew my mind. Still pondering an answer.....
