Born.

OK---- my baby was born. Sister Follett is my new companion and I just love her!!!!! It's so fun having a new companion because you kind of forget things that are different. Teaching her the Canadian slang, showing her how to use the money, and having to remind myself that in the U.S. everything doesn't have french on it!!

It's really awesome though because when you got that greenie fire you are just so diligent and ready to work, and change peoples lives!!! So we have been working hard and having a blast. Gonna be a good 3 months :)

the newest missionaries serving in Vauxhaul (known for their potatoes)!! (p.s.-- why am i always drawn to places that crop potatoes??? first idaho...now canada...)

One thing that we have been focusing on is using family history to interest people in the gospel. The whole town is related... everyone's a Jensen or an Andersen. They all have Danish ancestry, and a lot of people at first aren't related to the gospel, but they're interested in how they're related to everyone here!! So we're excited to start that, and use it as a way of teaching people why it's so important to know your genealogy!

igloos in canada makin me chilly

Basically-- a normal week! I tried being all Canadian and making bacon, and it was a "gong show" (Canadian slang for absolute disaster). Literally, grease flew in my eye, smoke detectors screaming, staining our dresses, yeah........ just another day and week in the life of Sister Meiners.

Love ya bye!!!!!!

goodbye to cute Sister Simms!!
