Hello from the Canadian country!!

When you're so Canadian you paint the side of your house with a maple leaf. (patriotism here is real)
Just when you got used to me emailing on Tuesdays.... here I am emailing on a Monday. Well we have a super special zone conference tomorrow, so they moved our P-day back this week! But I'll be emailing next Tuesday, so don't you folks worry. :)
Well this week was good! We got the car back so it was nice to be cruisin' in the AC. It's been unusually hot here and everyone's freaking out!!!!!! Apparently the pea crops aren't doing too well in this heat... It actually seems pretty mild compared to Maryland humidity.... BUT boy oh boy, people give us all this fresh produce! I want fresh raspberries? I got people for dat. I want fresh eggs? I got a dozen people for dat. I want fresh yellow corn? I got a whole town for dat. #farmconnections

Nonchalantly helping sheer sheep. Man hands me the wool, I pull out dirt and stuff. Then, I stand on a tractor and jump in barrels of the wool and just stomp it down so it fits. Never have I felt so farmy in my life.

This is John. So he would wrangle the sheep with that lil lasso on my leg (ok side note, Candians pronounce it "la-Sue" ...) and then i'd have to stomp on the can via tractor.
This week our mission did a mission fast so that we could find more people to teach! So for those who don't know, fasting is a way that we prepare ourselves to receive blessings from God (similar to prayer) but when we fast we go without food or water to help us do that. It was 39 C that day... around 102 F! And we were asked to be out, talking to people, and teaching for those last 3 hours of the fast. Man. We were just about delirious! You know when Spongebob was at Sandy's house and he was just drying up and he was gasping "water...I NEED IT" ??? THAT is how I felt!!!!!!!
Hahaha BUT-- MAN, we have seen so many miracles because of the fast! My companion and I have had promptings to go and see people that are never home when we tried in the past, or having lessons that went soooo smoothly, or having people just tell you they have friends that want to hear from us! Stuff that never happens is happening! It's cool because when we have Faith in Jesus Christ, that through him we can be helped, we really will see miracles. But we just gotta be patient and know that everything happens in the Lord's time. Line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little, there a little :)

This week I got to teach a primary class of 7 year-olds :) I taught them that they could be a missionary at any age, and I was like, "so do you kids want a name tag to make it official?" and they all harmoniously chanted "YEAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!" So I put lil name tags on them. You'd be shocked how a little piece of black paper goes a long way, eh!

We did coloring, and Carsten so wisely wrote, "I know the church is chroo!!!!!!!!" I know it, too.
Ok... i love y'all! :) xoxoxoxoox
