HAPPY 4th of JULY!!!! :) I am currently decked out in blue and white stripes and a red skirt. #america

ANYWAYS. This past Saturday was Canada's 150th year as a country!!!!!!!!!!! Oh man, I was pumped. I mean, I've been looking forward to this day since I got here! But like Canadians, the day was actually pretty politely quiet and reserved... They didn't even do fireworks???? Hahaha I was expecting it to be crazy.... but it was basically a normal day..... (except the whole town was deserted cause they all went to family reunions). BUT. I did get some cool Canada stuff at the dollar store, which is always a plus. :)

Sista Christensen and I on Canada Day!

My Canada Day PJs :) (hockey jersey, moose stuffed animal, and maple leaf everything eh)

Taber is a cute lil town. We share a car, so we biked this week. Just imagine, biking vigorously in 35 C weather, in a skirt. Hahahaha contrary to popular belief... its actually super fun! You can just literally roll up to people and start talking about Jesus. It is the best.

Spiritual thought :)

Ok, so I was out serving on a farm, ya know, doing my thang, wrangling sheep and herding them and such. And the farmer told us there was one sheep we needed to catch. We knew what it looked like, we left all the other sheep to get that one! And when we finally got it we were so excited! Cause it was finally with the rest of his lil sheep friends.

And after we did this we went inside and taught our sweet investigator the parable of the lost sheep in the Bible. Similarly to how we were able to actually help the sheep come back to the fold, Jesus Christ, the Good Sheppard, is always seeking out us! When we feel lost and forgotten, Christ is always looking for us. It really brought this scripture story to life for me, cause little did that sheep know how crazy she was, runnin' around without direction. The Lord truly is always looking out for us when we are lost-- so many miracles and blessings he gives us, and we are often too crazy to see that. And when we return home the Savior will say, "Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost." (Luke 15:6).

Well, I gotta go party with some Americans for this great Independence day! Love you all!

Lil kids know us and holler "hey missionaries!" It's kinda like we're these infamous girls that just ride around on bikes in skirts and super fashion-forward helmets. No big deal.
