Father's Day and Cara goes to the temple!!

Hello fans,

It has been a crazy week :) Happy Father's day to all you dads and future dads out there!!! (especially to you, David) :)

This week was super fun crazy! On Thursday, we walked 18 kilometers! We were pooped.... It's not even that far but when your in a dress and you ain't wearing sneakers its kinda tiring... #portablebrushforthewin. In other news, we did a bunch of service! Working at a triathalon, teaching english, helping people move, mowing lawns, cleaning... It was sweet! Serving people really opens their heart to our message about Christ, it helps people see we're just trying to do some good in the world!

We volunteered at a triathalon and got burnt so bad! You racers out there are rock stars.

ANYWAYS, Cara went to the temple this week!!! We were so pumped for her :) Going to the temple helps us feel such peace, it was awesome!!! She came out and said "I get it now why everyone talks about it! It is so peaceful there."

The work has been good :) One of my favorite messages we shared with people this week was related to fathers! When we think of all of our favorite things about our earthly fathers, (they're supportive, they're kind, loving, they want the best for us, etc) they are all attributes of our Heavenly Father. Even if we don't have a father in our life, we can always rely on our Heavenly Father who loves us so personally! We're his children :) Isn't that a beautiful thing? We're not just little spontaneous accidents.. our Heavenly Father truly created us in his own image, and we are here to learn and become like Him! Simple isn't it?

The apostles have stated that, "of all the titles of respect and honor and admiration that are given to deity, he asked us to address him as father." Cool, eh?

So my district leader was eating a few too many sweets and ripped his suit coat jacket, and threw it away... So I sneakily stole the coat from the rubbage and got Cara to sew it up. :) So we graced Max with his first suit coat on Sunday!!! :)

He was so excited, cause it was super nice fabric! The elder saw Max on sunday and mentioned to us after, "was that my suit coat????" hahahahha.... #istoleit

This week we were able to teach these Syrian refugees how to read english! They taught me some Arabic! They are presh.

My fave lil Australian family! They always make my favorite meals for me.... too cute
