Today is Victoria Day.... so all the libraries and stuff are closed.... IDEK what this holiday honors, Queen Victoria's Bday? Regaurdless... Happy Victoria Day??!

CALGARY!!!

This week was sooo good! At our district meeting this week, we talked about teaching with boldness and charity! We talked about how when we are inviting people to come unto Christ, you will never be overbearing if it's with love! Cause that's why we do it, cause we love these sons and daughters of God!

The next day I was teaching this woman for the first time, and she had a hard life! She said she wanted to have a better relationship with God but didn't know how. I had just taught this wonderful woman for the first time that day, but I felt the Spirit so quietly whisper that I should invite her to be baptized, because that's what can help her come unto Christ! I didn't want to be pushy... but I remembered that I can be bold with love. So, I tenderly asked her if she would prepare herself to be baptized, and she without hestitation said yes! It was such a humbling experience for me because I saw that people want to follow God, they just often don't know how to do that! We all can be instruments in the Lord's hands as we are bold and loving!

We call the people we teach "investigators," but sometimes I call them "gators." So I bought this inflatable gator, just for funzies.

"What do missionaries cook for themselves?"

Peeps. Keep being good people, and keep doing good things. And just keep serving, and pushing on! Here's one of my fave scriptures: "Teach them to never be weary of good works, but to be meek and lowly in heart; for such shall find rest to their souls" Alma 37:34
