Peeps!
This week we started teaching some new people, including a Filipino fam! They're presh. We've also been preparing for our man Sarith to be baptized this weekend! Good stuff.
WASN'T GENERAL CONFERENCE AWESOME?? Prophets are just the best. If ya didn't hear it--- go back and study it! One of my favorite talks was from Elder Gary B. Sabin. He told a story of a boy who went camping, and froze all night because he didn't want to put in the effort to have to roll his sleeping bag back up. And then he asked, are we not unrolling our spiritual sleeping bags?? And I can think of so many times that I make excuses not to do something that I know is good for me, but I'm just lazy! Or as a missionary, so many times I just want people to see how what we teach can make them happier! We have the amazing gift of the gospel, so we ought to use it! :)
Sister Meiners Fail Pt 2:
Okay Sarith has an old wheel chair he doesn't use anymore and we needed to borrow it. And he's like "You wanna race?" and of course we never decline a race with Sarith. So we're like YA. So we went to the parking lot and we were getting ready to race and I just had so much energy and gusto that when I started my legs literally flipped over my head. All I can say is, I'm thankful I was wearing tights. Vid included for your enjoyment. Feel free to put it in slow mo with dramatic music and send it back to me.
Pig Update: Remember when I was freaking out at that huge pig the other week? Well its becoming a normal thing. Two different times I've showed up to a house this week and they just have a whole pig chillin' there. And they wanted me to look it in the eyes and take the first stab :O .... In the words of the 4 year old I sat by "That piggy was running around, but he died. And now, he's lunch." Wise, wise words.
Love you guys! :)
Pics

1. Our adoring fans, Mikey and Jordan, play the game "missionary" where they put on their little ties and carry books around the house and start talking. We put our name tags on them to make it official. So precious.

2. The elders got us these dope shirts from the high school in our area #thugs

3. The new family we have been teaching! :)

4. Anyone who knows me wells knows that my highest form of flattery is referring to them as a cherub, essentially a chubby baby angel. I have graced Sister Williams with this title. So of course, we took this photo by a painting of us.

5. When you wanna be young and fun again so you crawl into the young women's selfie and they teach you how to pose. Also, they were shocked when I told them I used to have a Snapchat at home... They make me feel so old......
