1 month!

I've been out on my mission for a month people!!

It has been awesome! I love our area more and more everyday!

We got the opportunity to go to the Calgary Temple this week! It was awesome to go :) We got to teach Sarith a few times this week, and he committed to be baptized! We're currently making a sticker chart to help him to stop smoking. We also got to teach our other investigator, Cara. She is such a humble person, and even though her life has not been easy, she is always trying to help other people. She is always positive and kind even when it's hard to be.

Although people here are often weird and just downright strange-- its so easy to see the good in people as a missionary :) There was one night where we were sorta bummed cause all our plans and back up plans were cancelled. So we knocked on doors, and on the LAST door, we met this woman who told us she has been looking for a church to go to! She was so excited to meet with us. I know that its not about my plans, its about God's plans! I felt the Spirit so strongly as I talked to her, and I knew that God loved her. I felt it! And I knew that I was supposed to be here on my mission-- what joy!

I love you all, and I love Calgary!

This is Sister Goldthorpe. She is really deaf so we had to speak REALLY loud to her. She also stole her roommates icecream so that we could have it But she is the cutest thing ever and Sister Williams and I are obsessed with her.

Sarith came to church 3 weeks in a row! We love Sarith. :)
